Are they some type of special hose? I am talking about the hose that doesn't have a metal fitting. Is it a special make up? I am asking because I want to replace it but I don't want to spend $25 on it when I could use non preformed hose for $1.98 a foot. I could connect it without it looking tack or getting in the way of anything. Is this a possible solution.
Where did you get the price for 25? The reason I asked was i looked through several catalogs when I changed my hoses with the rack job and some of the companies were charging big differences and I found the rubber hoses(non metal line) around 10.00.
I comapred and seen maybe 20 dollar differences between the same hoses.
I wouldnt use a regular store hoses because it can kink and also they come close to the pulley when it spins..even the stock ones do and wouldnt want it to somehow rub and split open.
Sorry i cant remember where I got those hoses but it was either MAD or Ecklers. At the time was the cheapest I found.
However 18carfan on the forum can probably get you them for the best price if theyre still avalible.Mine came in GM boxes but this was 2 years ago.
Keep shopping around...I know someone has them alot cheaper.
:)
I Bought my hose kit from Ecklers, it was the cheapest I think I paid $69 :) for all three hoses. I got the puller from Autozone loan a tool. Go with the right stuff.
