Squeaky Noise in Steering
My 1993 LT-1 with 110k has a squanking noise when it has been driven for a few miles and proceeds to warm up. Only hear the noise when you turn the steering wheel to the left or right. It does not make the noise if you push down on the front end as if you expect the shock or control arm bushing to make a noise. It is just in the steering. It will do it with the engine on or off. Sound like it is coming from the Steering Box where the intermediate shaft connects. Any ideas anyone?
