Hedman Elites...Regular Hedman headers are "Disposable" like latex gloves.

Hedman Elites are like around $285-$300 on sale some places, I have been watching them also. As for the regulars, I have never had a car long enough to watch them rot out. I do see some people say they, last longer if not wrapped, because the wrap creates uneven temp, and moister.

I picked up a used set of TPiS, those will work with the straight plugs.

You will need boot protectors because the wires will rub on two cylinders though.

Summit sells hedman elites for pretty cheap. You can get them thermocoated if desired...

Stay away from heat wrap. The advantages: Blocks heat

Disadvantages: possible fire hazzard, expensive, ugly, not greatly effective, rust, moisture, mildew, ect....

Could always keep the stock exaust but just make it more effiecient.

Gut out the exaust manifolds, gut the cats(optional), and then use a plasama torch on the mufflers to gut them then weld em shut and spray paint them. No one will think it's got anything until it's to late. A sleeper!

But seriously, the stock exaust is going to hold you back a fair amount since it was designed for the L98. Like breathing thru a straw while running on the treadmill.

Oh yea, your going to need to get the adaptor brackets. Jeffvette makes them. He used to frequent here but got banned. You can go here and find him. I hope it's not against the rules to post this link...

and get slotted rotors but drilled have cracked under extreme conditions. For OEM rotors, go Napa. I have always used those and they great!

Summit has the full line of Hedman headers for L98 C4's. Use these Summit part numbers for lookup.

The Hedman Elites p/n HED-68448 have a thermal coating. It's a very good header and their coatings will last a long time. This particular header uses heavy 14 gauge tubes and a 3/8" flange. $392.95

There is another type of Elite header p/n HED-68446 that is ceramic coated but has 18 gauge tubes and a 1/4" flange. $346.95

Headman Street headers p/n HED-68440 are the painted version and are available at Summit Racing for $153.95. But these headers also use thinner 18 gauge tubes with a 1/4" flange.

JetHot is good, but why go thru ordering plain painted headers and spend a big chunk of change at JetHot when the Hedman coating is of very good quality??
