Update:

Well what can I say. My FAST box has seen more miles (shipping) on it in the past 3-4 months then my entire car in 3 years. Not to mention I sent my harness to Dan White twice for a few things, and let's just say things were not done as I expected them to be done.

The FAST was finally fixed (that's another story), and my stuff is now in SloRVette's hands now, and he is doing what should have been done months ago. I feel like I am in good hands now.

That's it in a nutshell. After speaking to Paul, he advised me that the FAST is still much more advanced then the stock ecm, and tuning will be a piece of cake compared to burning chips.

That was around ten years ago and the car (86 Vette) still can't be driven. Unbelievable FAST problems.

Too many cooks in the kitchen. Someone convinced him that he JUST HAD TO HAVE an aftermarket system. Oh, well!

Your friends combo doesnt sound like something that would be easy to tune on the stock ecm. My issue is more to do that I wasnt educated enough when I bought my used electronics. Live and learn, I will NEVER buy used electronics again.

I run the same system on my 88z52 and have it running not to badly. I think my engine and set up is close enought to yours it would start and run so you could start the real work. I am out of the contry { Bulgaria }right now to have the wife treated for her MS. But will be back in Pickering in 12 days. I might be able to give you some tips to help after getting it started as well, as the instructions with the program are not up to much. I run mine in closed loop for the most part with 2 broad band O2s
just to keep track of the fast system. You can have a look at my engine
in my profile and see what you think and let me know.
Take Care

It was nice chatting with you. Look forward to seeing your 421 after the winter.

That is what I was thinking. I pretty much have been gone for all of '10, return in '11 and it seems like we are where we left off at the end of '09.

Get after it already Rick!

Well, at least you have your priorities straight.

Sometimes we need to get away from this stuff to take care of other more pressing issues in life. Take care of those babies and the wife.

You'll be one of the lucky few who actually ENJOY their drive to work.

Just an update:

The car sounds "amazing"!!! I have heard 383, and 396's but the added cubes really sets this sucker apart.

On the flip side of the coin my neighbours will not be happy. This sucker is loud.

Cubes (421), Compression (11.6), Cam (236,242), and Exhaust (Full 3 inch duals)= Priceless!!

Would be a good Mastercard commercial.
