Default Convertor quesitons

I recently had some trouble with my new MSD distributor and got it squared away but something new has come up now.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-t...in-a-94-a.html

It seems the the convertor on the drivers side is rattling heavily from the inside. I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that all the severe back firing might have "blown out" the convertor guts. I have a set of cut out pipes that were on the car when I got it but replaced them with a set of used cats about 5 years ago that already had 90,000 miles on them. I have put about 30,000 miles on the car since then so 120,000 total miles on the cats. I do not want to go without cats and have been looking into aftermarket direct replacements. Any advice? Catco, MagnaFlow?

Any high flow cat is fine. I bought Magnaflow on eBay. To be safe and save money, measure your units and order universals the right size. Retail priced Cats are a rip. I like to weld them on.

I was looking for some bolt in direct replacements. Magnaflow caught my eye. If I had some extra funds I would just break down and get some long tubes with some Ramdom Techs in them.
