engine tune up
I have a C-4 1989 convertible
love it!!
bought from client 3 months ago
89,000 miles
i want to do a tune up
do i go Ac Delco or go High perform...
what have others done
engine runs great but some slight hesitation idles rought
and engine is original
no high perform work done YET!!
I appeciate any feed back

Here's what I replace during a tune up. Cap, rotor, plugs, wires,air and fuel filters. Set the timing and check the TPS adjustment. Check the vacuum lines for cracks. Once you've done all this you'll have a solid fondation to start your mods.

well you can do a basic engine tune up checking belts by checking the belts for cracks in the belt grooves or splitting of the belt material. You need to replace belts at the recommended intervals.
