Default Vacuum Hose Question

I just removed my cruise control vacuum diaphram, that sits right above the battery, in order to mount my accusump. I now have two hoses with no place to go. One is a smaller diameter and goes to a T fitting which is the line that gets the vacuum from the engine. I am just going to cap the T and remove this hose. The second is a bit larger diameter and goes through the firewall. Where does this one go? Can I just leave it open ended, or should I get a fitting to connect the two lines?

It goes to the switch on the brake pedal.

So when I hit the brakes it releases the vacuum holding the throttle open? This means I can plug it without it affecting anything.
