pulling 5.7 tpi engine and tranny
hello, im looking for some help here i am pulling the engine and tranny out of my 88 c4 and i am having some issues i pulled the whole front clip of bumper and all and i am trying to pull the engine and the tranny at the same time but i cannot clear the firewall. do i have to pull the distributor and a ton of the top of the engine as well just to get it out or am i simply tuggin the wrong way , please respond if you have any views or have pulled this issue before i would be most appreciative thanks , tomterzian@yahoo.com

Pull the dizzy, be careful not to damage the oil psi/sending unit, and have the car as high on the jack stands as possible. Have someone pull down on the rear of the tranny (under the car) if you need a little more room to clear.
