Default 1984 electric fan

I reciently had to replace my fan motor. It had seized and burnt up the motor and the fusable link. I repaired the link and replaced the motor. I started the car and let it reach temp. the fan comes on normally at 230. The problem is the fan now wont shut off. I let it cool over night and this morning I turn the ignition on and the fan also comes on. Could the relay gotten crispy and is sticking on?

The high current draw from the seized motor may have welded the relay's points together.
Pull the trigger wire from the relay and see if it stops. It's dark green/white stripe, on my 86.

Also, the fan on the 84' is supposed to come on at 221, not at 230.

Thanks guys. I replaced the relay...not the problem. It was the fan switch on the right side of the engine. After replacing it with the 1984 only switch (found that out after a trip to the ac/delco website) the fan now functions as it should. I know the fsm says on at 238, off at 201 but I am getting on at 228, off at 220. I wonder if my gauge is off now too?
