One of my injectors started leaking at the top so I tore the upper part of the engine apart to get the fuel rail out. I ordered new o-rings and took the rail to the Chevy dealer and had them put in the o-rings and new clips on the fuel rail.. I brought it home and installed the fuel rail and now every one of the injectors are leaking, can anyone tell me why and what should I do next.. I'm used to working on older cars and fuel injection is not my expertise.. Thanks Butch

I took the fuel rail and injectors back to the chevy dealer and now they are saying all my injectors are bad leaking from the electrical plug. Funny how only one was leaking before and now all 8 are bad.. I'm getting really bummed out for sure.. Butch
If you were able to remove the rail you should of just gone to Napa and bought new 0 rings and reinstalled it your self. If the rail is seated right I don't believe you even need the clips. I know I didn't when I instaled Bosch lll's.
If one injector was bad, all of the injectors would've had to be replaced anyways.
Contact Jon Banner at www.fuelinjectorconnection.com and get a set of the Bosch III design direct replacement injectors for only $169 and you'll be back on the road with a better running engine.
Thanks for the info.. I'm going to order a set today... I'm an old school guy 60 years old and have only worked on cars that had carbs on them so this is my first time with fuel injection so it is a little scary for me to work on. I have only had this vette for 2 weeks and want to get it back on the road as soon as possible. I appreciate the great help on getting fuel injectors that I can afford. Will let you know how I make out when it is running again....Butch
Any questions you have just ask here, lots of help. Its a straight forward job just just need to remove lots of things to get at the fule rail, you can take some photos as you go to help. Also the thing to have is the FSM it will save you lots of time and money keeping your Vett on the road
Yep, I can idenitfy with this. I'm 62 and just changed the injectors on my 94 LT1. I'd seen lots of good stuff about Jon at FIC. I figure it's all true. I've messed with Holley's and other carbs since about 63(1963, that is). Hadn't EVEN seen a fuel injector out of an engine before.
Got a set of injectors from Jon, started to put them in. Hey, I thought they'd go in like the ones I took out. Couldn't get the 2nd O ring to fit in the hole. Called the number on the instruction sheet, Damn, a person answered the fone, and told me what to do. It worked, you know, like he'd actually seen what I was trying to do.
Best thing you can do is call FIC and get a set on the way. When (IF) you get confused, just call the number and things will go OK.
My injectors are on their way.. He told me to call if I had any problems. Seems like a great guy to deal with. Can't wait to get the vette back on the road. Butch

At the risk of sounding redundant, Jon at FIC is the BEST vendor I have ever dealt with in over forty (40) years. To see a prime example of his work in action, check out my thread:

Congratulations! Nice to have your new found power!
I have checked my gas mileage closely since installing my injectors. My mileage is up about 2mpg. This is with keeping my foot into the gas pedal for the most part!
