Next project: Radiator scoop
I'm planning on making a scoop out of sheet metal soon, I'm planning on setting it up on the stock rubber scoop and extending it outwards at least half way to the front of the car.
I'm trying to determine the most feasible mounting. The curb feeler is definitely going to serve as one bracket, and the other will probably be another hole drilled in the feeler up near the front.
I'm probably also going to delete the difuser or whatever the heck that thing is. Unless that is used for distributing air up towards the top of the condensor? Thats the only thing I can think it be for? Any ideas?
My other thought was just a sheet metal spoiler that mimics what the stock plastic spoiler did, but at much less of an extreme angle.
Right now I am not having temperature problem, but I am running all three fans to maintain 200 degrees or less. Once the ambient-temp gets 110+ I feel I may start having a problem.
Here is a reference photo.

All input is greatly appreciated.
