I have the Rhino ramps, and it hits my front spoiler when I go up. So I bought a 2x10 and cut a 3 foot piece and put those in front of the ramps to get a better angle.

I made my own ramps with 2x10 pieces of wood. I used 4 steps to get it up to the 8" max lift. I measured them out so that it goes up before the ramp hits the spoiler. :D
I own Rhino ramps, have a stock ride height C4 convertible, and put a wood 2x4 in front of where the ramp starts when putting my car up on it. No problems.
That extra inch from the tire going up on the 2x4 is all it takes to get the front spoiler/air dam to clear it
Re: Rhino Ramp ---> not low enough!!! (Springer's 95)
who sells the rhino ramps??? my lowered ZR1 seems like it would scrape a pack of cigarettes. do they still make a "jack a vette" plate for jacking up the rear end or is this only for C5s getting these C4s up in the air is a PITA. I need to get a lift but don't really want to pay the $$$
I have a pair of these ramps, the car is sitting on them right now. I've just never tried to drive up on them, I was kinda afraid they would scrape. I wind up just jacking the car up and sliding the ramps underneath. I didn't really get them so I could drive on them, but rather I got them so that the whole tire could sit properly, my old ramps just didn't like 275 tires :)
