Default New 461 small block

Well I blew up the old 440 small block in the vette and I have been rounding up the parts for the new 461 small block that will replace the 440. It will be a tall deck iron eagle block with 23 degree allpro heads with shaft rockers. I will be useing spacers with the heads so I can run my miniram intake until I can get something bigger. Here are some pictures of some of the parts.

Well just a little update on the motor. Its all together and just put it in the car last night. This morning I took it down to get some custum headers made for it since no one sell headers for a tall deck block with spread port allpro heads. It will take them a week then I will get to start it up. Here are some pictures.http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/al...&id=1330714708

Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm pretty sure there the 23 degree 245's and they have a spread port exhaust. Had the heads checked and they where around 350 cfm's @ 700 lift. That is until I put my miniram on then it cut it to 315 cfm's. I don't have the money for a new intake yet so that will be my wintertime project, The one Im thinking of is a hogan intake. I'm not sure of the bore I believe the stroke is 4.25". The car is in a shop getting the custum headers made since no one makes 2" headers for a tall deck block that fits in a C4.

Stock Miniram or ported?

What a cool project, thanks for keeping us in the loop, a Hogan or Marcella would be killer. Your winter projects sound so much more fun than mine!

I have a different approach to your intake issue, check this out. I am considering this for a 468 small block for my future plans.

It would be less money than a hogan intake.
