gm fast burn 385 crate engine
I was considering purchasing this engine, either it or a zz4. I know that I would have to purchase a vortec base intake for this motor to work with my car, 1989 vette. Would it hook up to the factory headers? Is there any other mods I would need for this motor to work with my car? Car is 89 vette 6 speed.

I think you are still going to change the cam. Not enough low speed grunt. high RPM power occurs too high for a TPI setup. more compatible with an LT-1 intake
