Default Valve Covers?

I just spent $$$ on AFR Heads for my 93 Vette. Using Comp Cam 1.6 Roller Rockers. I have ground the inside as much as can be ground out of the stock valve covers.
I know lots of people are using the afr heads and running RR's.
What are people using for valve covers?
If you have to go to tall covers how do you clear the alternator and accessor bracket on the drivers side?
I have come way to far with this project and jumped too many hurdles to let this one get to me!
Thanks

It's been a while since I did it but, on my '92 LT1, we used the composite covers with the drippers ground out. IF I remember correctly, we had an issue with the lock-nuts hitting and had to order a set of shorter lock nuts. You might want to check that. Also, I'm not sure if the rails on the head are higher or lower than stock heads. I'm using the GM heads. If anything, I would have thought that the valve cover rails on AFR heads would have been a little higher, working in your favor.

I use the stock covers on my '95 with the drip taps removed with no problems.

I had to have taller covers due to the valvetrain on the AFR215CPs. I insisted on keeping the factory covers, so I modified a set of spacers from S&D that add ~5/16" to the height of the valve covers. These spacers have the captured o-ring to make the seal to the head, so there are no issues with sealing.

I absolutely wanted to keep the factory valve covers. Sleeper effect....

Thanks for the input from everyone.
When I had the Scorpion Rockers I ground out the drip tabs and they worked. However, when I went to the AFR Heads they said I needed RR w/o self-aligning so I switched to the Comp Cam.
I just got the intake on, if I have to change the RR nuts on the RR will I have to pull the intake off again to set the lash?
WW7, was the proform covers the regular or tall that were 1/4" taller than stock?

There is no need to pull the intake to set valve lash.

I measured the scopion RR's and the Comp Cam RR's. They were the same height, so the difference causing grief was the guide plate thickness. I ground the oil tabs to the base and squared the holes for the valve cover stem holes.
It worked thanks for everyones help.

AFR makes a nice looking valve cover that I am using on my AFR 180s with 1.6 RR's. Fits on my 89.

Same here using Scorpion NSA 1.7/1.65 RRs on my son's 96 LT1.

However, on MY 96 LT1 I had to go with GM ProForm 1/4" taller covers to clear the poly locks. I also has to grind away a small area on the alternator (there was a protrusion about the size of a quarter) that hit the driver's side cover. My high speed grinder made quick work of that interference.

My son's heads are Darts and mine are AFRs.
