Default headlights look like a ducks butt

sticking up outta the water. Took a little road trip and discovered the headlights wouldn't open all the way. I tried to raise them manually but didnt happen. they make the first flip then that's it. From my search I am saying the bushings are gone. Does this sound correct?

Probably.

Look at the sticky at the top of the page for instructions on how to fix.

Did they both go out at the same time and get stuck at the same angle? If so, maybe electrical.

They start to flip but just make the first turn then nada. If it was electrical I would have thought they could have been cranked up manually. The fact that they dont raise when I crank them has led me down the bushing path.

Are they both stopping at exactly the same instant. Maybe power going to both motors is interrupted due to a bad wire when the housings reach a certain position.
