New transmission and SMF set up problems PLEASE HELP!@!!!
ok here we go...
I had a new ZF 6 seed put in my 92 lt1 with a Mcleod SMF and Mcleod clutch. It is LOUD at idle and when under semi load in a higher gear. Is this just SMF chatter? also i think they forgot to reinstall the heat sheild and sound dampaning material because i can here everything from under the car and it POURS in heat like the heater is on. The center consul gets real hot and the shift rod can burn when you touch the metal shaft. The starter is making a odd sound engageing the new fly wheel. Also I get it back and the wipers are not working. What do you guys think is the deal ????

You are going to have to remove the shifter console plate and see if they reinstalled the rubber shifter boot under the console.
