Default Where do I mount a ground for a sub?

I am installing a sub in the cargo space of my 85 and am not sure where the closest place to find metal is. I was thinking possibly the bolts for the seats?

I put an 8" JL Audio sub in my pass side compartment. I grounded my system to the A pillar. It is metal. Very happy with the results.

My amp is under the seat and grounded to seat track stud, works just fine.

There's even a grommet under the carpet behind the passenger seat, so it's easy to route wiring there.

Currently I have a 4X75 JL amp and 2 Focal crossovers under the seat, but no pic.
Here's an old pic with another amp, the seat track is raised a 1/4" with plastic spacers, and the rear lower section of seat plastic has been trimmed. It's unseen, so I didn't feel bad about trimming it. Sorry no pic, but maybe soon. My Focal fronts I installed last year, really want more power, so I may go back to the 4X150 Crunch amp.

drop the power wire (fused)next to the battery, slip it into the small crack near the battery cover and door hinge divider(bottom), then up over the rubber casing around the harness to door loom, slit the casing looking at it line of sight, stick a coat hanger from the kick panel area and stick it through to the slit, tape the power wire to the hanger and pull....
