so i ended up gettin a complete carrol super charging kit!!!! my question is what kind of heads should i be looking for?
i was told i need a larger combustion chamber like 72cc i dont really care if there aluminum or not i just need a good head that will flow!! i'm going to install it this winter then take it to a shop and have them do the tuning end of it. anything i need to look out for? and the head thing is confusing for me!

Stock bottom end? If so, you don't need heads for stock bottom end boost levels. FYI - Aluminum heads are better, as they dissipate heat so much faster, which helps to prevent detonation. Bob
bottom end is a 383. its been a work in progress bored 30 with 400 crank all forged no it's time for the top end!!! is it true that i need to get heads with a larger combustion chamber?

If the bottom end is already built, the only way to lower compression is to go to a larger combustion chamber. You don't automatically need to drop your compression ratio to run more boost, it all depends on your combination and the octane you have available. What is your compression ratio at now, what cam do you have and how much boost are you looking to produce? Bob

Call Greg at Blower works, he will give the suggestions that you are looking for. Tell him the kit you purchased and your current set up.
i was going to call greg since he is the manufactur...i dont know what the compession is at this point i would have to pull the receipts to find the parts i bought for it. the previus owner told me it was set up to make 8-10 lbs of boost and from what i understand you have to change the gears inside to change the amount of boost? the supercharger thing is new for me i'm very mechanicly inclined but have never got into boosting...
