I good way to check if I can remember back when I was into 4 X 4 's is.
Jack up the rear and shift to neutral
Mark your tire or rim at the bottom(inside so you can see it) then mark your driveshart.Rotate your tire 2 full turns counting your drive shaft turns while you do this If your driveshaft rotates a little over 2 and a half turns you will have 2.59 if it rotates a little over 3 turns you have 3.07.This works for all vehicles with all gears.
Your drive shaft will rotate to the gearing number you have in the rear.
So if going to the bone yard you can always find out what gears your getting.
