92 coupe cdm remove. i need help to remove cdm under dash. can anydody help? this bose radio is a pain in the butt.

Oh Geez - this is my weekend project for Labor Day. Please don't tell me I will regret replacing my blown Blows. Mine is a 90 and it is under the pass hush panel according to the service manual.

Funny, my friends 92 is in that compartment. His is a late 92.
Think you have to remove the dash pad, do a search. I know someone detailed how to do this, then remove the vent ducting and it is right underneath.

As I remember it is held on by two bolts on either side. There is a steel plate it sits on also. Once you get the two bolts off, just bend the steel plate down and the CDM will just slide off.

In 92 it's under the dash. Pull the glove box lid and the inner liner, the A/C vent, the side kick panel and the pad under the dash. The first ones help you see it but you have to remove it from underneath.
I've had mine out twice.
