Chrome Alternator
I'm loking to add a chrome alternator to my 96 LT4 and it looks like it's a Powermaster or a TuffStuff brand. Does anybody have any experiance with these? Summit has the TuffStuff for $269 vs the Pwermaster for $302. I hate to buy junk just to save a few bucks but if I can save some money...

Before I got a Powermaster, I was replacing alternators almost as often as I was changing oil. Since I have that chrome PowerMaster in my 90, I have not had any problems. That was like 10 years of problem free service.

I've owned 2 TuffStuff alternator's, the first one I had to return because there was a crack in it and all the chrome is peeling off the second one....I stay away from them.
