Had A/C repaired, now the engine stalls when stopping.

1991 L98 with ZF6

I had my A/C repaired and every once in a while the engine stalls when I am coming to a stop. As I am down shifting and push in the clutch it will stall when I am coasting between 15-25 MPH.

Should my Idle RPMs be any higher when the A/C is on?

Any ideas?

The IAC should adjust to keep the same idle RPM with the AC on.

I was having issues with my AC too. The engine would load up every time the compressor came on. I also had a fairly rough idle I have been chasing for quite a while now. I took the IAC off.......again and sprayed the shaft with WD 40 several times just like in the link, (I just let it sit for about 15 minutes not over night) made sure I had 1" from the base to the end of the pintle and put it back together and the idle is the best it's ever been. Also the AC isn't noticeable when it is running as it was before. I'm curious to see how long this lube job will hold up.
