My 93 LT1 vert (137K miles) started acting up a while back. First symptom was immediate engine cut out with the tach dropping to zero and the ASR light coming on. In the beginning it would quit for a second or so and then run again. Over the next couple weeks it got to the point that as soon as the engine got up to operating temp (about 180 degrees) the engine quits. When the engine quits it's an immediate cut off so I suspect elctrical or ignition. It will restart after having a chance to cool and run until it heats up again. I've already replaced the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and the Opti. Any suggestions out there on where to look next?

this might not be your problem but, ohm check the injectors. 93's do not usually have bad coils in the injector as they changed the design of the injector that year. But, occasionally we see a failed one. They should read 12ohms. A shorted injector will shut the injector driver down if current is passed through the injector into the ECM via the ground (or injector trigger) When the driver shuts down it will act as you shut the key off.
