Paging George"fastguy"
You probably know by now but that intake gasket for the Accel base is the FelPro #1205
Man it was tough not getting the 215 heads for the same price as 200's but since the intake can't be ported all the way in"other than Extrude hone" I personally could not see dumping a small port into a larger head runner and losing velocity.
What heads did you go with?

I bought the Air Flow Research 190's from a friend who bought them new and never installed them. The LPE base I have was ported by Speed Demon MotorSports so I asked the tech at Lingenfelter which intake gaskets to use when I was ordering my runner and plenum gaskets. They sent me a Victor Reinz gasket ($13) which mates up pretty well even with the ported lower. There is a tiny tiny bit of overlap I may clean up with an X-acto but otherwise it fit fine.

I just ordered a set of 1256 10 minutes ago. The 1256 have the "Printoseal", which is basically a built in silicon sealant that helps to improve the seal. The 1204 are regular style "High Performance" gaskets. :cheers:

I went to the shop this morning and laid my Victor Reinz gaskets over a set of Fel Pro 1256's and they were identical, so I guess the 1256 is fine.
