Tires on a 94 LT1.
I am going to purchase new tires soon. I have the ZR1 type wheels. 17x8.5 in front and 17x9.5 in the rear. Would 275-40-17 fit in the front ?

275's on an 8.5" wide rim is specified as an 'optional' size in the Tire and Rim handguide at my job.
Its not the preferred, but is approved for that rim width. You shouldn't have any problems (unless they changed something underneath the car from 1992 to 1993 that the tire might bump into when turned all the way to the side)
