The local parts stores are Kragen with a variety of pickle forks and NAPA that has a separator 775-9096

Will the Napa part work or do I need to use something different?

put the castle nut back on upside down to protect the threads and use a BFH. Yes I'm a savage but some times a BFH IS the tool that works.

Also, squirt a little penetrating oil around it before giving it a whack. Works every time.

If you're changing them out it really doesn't matter how you get them apart. The BFH works pretty good!

Thanks for the replies. Tried the upside down castle nut and whack with a hammer -- I used an upside down large bolt to distribute the force. It worked and no damage done.

Between college football and my being convinced that the first hydraulic line went in the other hole, I managed to get the new rack in, steering attached and hydraulic lines connected. The rest shouldn't be too bad except for the back, passenger side bolt.
