Emergency brake help***
Please help. I changed the front brake pads on my car as they were worn. Back look great! I have triple checked everything and all bolts are loc tited down with maximum loc tite. When the brakes get warm, they grind really bad and the braking is awful. NO lights going off(ABS). Pads are from NAPA. Everything looks fine...Please advise on what to do. Rotors are all even as well. Look brand new. That was my first thought.
I am scared to drive the car because the brakes grind so bad and it takes alot longer to stop. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!

Don't let the title confuse you. This has NOTHING to do with the E brake. This is purely the front brakes only. Sorry about the confusing title guys and gals. T.I.A.

If there is plenty left on all the pads there shouldn't be any grinding. What do you mean by the braking is awful? Were the rotors resurfaced or replaced with the pads? If not, that's probably where your problem is.

Maybe they aren't fully bedded in yet. 10 stops from 30-0 at half pressure, 10 stops from 50-30 at half pressure, 5 stops from 60-0
