Rephrasing my question...
OK, here's a better stated question, or pair of questions anyway, and should get to my point a little easier.
All right, here's the plan, LONG TERM goal:
LT1 C4 (auto) that runs a HIGH 11- LOW/mid 12 1/4 mile time, pushin about 400 horse power or more (at the flywheel, crank) and handles well (given that handling mods will prob add weight it'll just take more power).
Now, for short term, I'm getting a lot of offers on my Trans Am lately, so I'm gonna be getting into a C4 soon, HOPEFULLY, and all though I'll have to drive it a while to make sure I get all the kinks worked out before I mod it, I'll have anywhere from $1,800 - $2,500 to sink into it right away.
The MAIN things I wanna do is 3.73s, 26-2800 stall TC, 52 mm TB, heads/cam w/custom programming, powerstat, Tri-Flo exhaust (or something similar), camber brace, cross bar, sway bars, either K&N (free open lid mod) or SLP claw, headers (all though I'll have to go short tube to compensate for emissions, so probably just ported manifolds), and then along with those things come everything else, such as a vented opti, timing chain, transmission cooler, spark plugs, wires, etc.
So here's the poll/question for you guys...
With the money I will have to spend on mods, what do I buy to BOTH give me a great foot ahead towards my low 12s, AND, be something good to set up later mods?
Thanks in advance

It's just a simple opinion question. You guys have more experience, I know some of you wish you'd done certain things and not done certain things, just looking for what you'd do first.
But hey, 35 hrs a week of school and 25 hrs of work, kinda hard on my weak mind
Just ignore all my posts from today guys, I'm out of it! :seeya
A lot of people responded to a lot of questions about your LAST fantasy car. Maybe some of us are waiting to respond to a real situation, rather than a daydream.

My answer? Buy a car!
To everyone else, thanks for the e-mails and previous replies to other posts, I think I've got it down now :flag
