If it really is from a vette its a L98

Could be 305 TPI from a F body too.

Not Vette. Placement of the alternator is incorrect, wrong side and the tailstock of the transmission is not Corvette.

If you are really interested ask the seller for the engine numbers.

It is not a Corvette engine. No serpentine belt among other things.

Not a Corvette tranny either.

L98 from a Camaro /Firebird ;
has mount on trans for F-body swing arm , small cap dist , fuel lines to drv side ,F -body exh manifolds and low mount A/c compressor
Not a '90 either because it has early style throttle body , runners and oil pressure sensor

It is a 1987 L98 or LB9 out of a F-body. It has centerbolt valve covers (1987 and newer), cast iron heads, 1987 serpentine pulley set-up, F-body exhaust manifolds, and transmission. He says it is a 5.7, but the only way to tell for sure is to have him take a picture of it.
