I have a 92 coupe that I want to lower, what is the consensus on the best way to do this, I have read many posts with different ways of doing this
Is it easier to use the wedges that are bought as a kit,
or
to just cut out the stock wedges
or
cut out stock wedges and the rubber pads at the ends of spring
or
anything else
I will post what my current measurements are when I get a chance, the rear is up on stands right now.
THANKS
I did coilovers, it is not cost effective and will consume more time, but the results are being able to do whatever you want with height and shock control.

If money is not the issue. I went with Coilovers, 400 lbs springs and the QA1 dual adjustable shocks. I was able to lower the front by 1 1/2 inches without having problems with my steep driveway and the handling and ride quality is much improved. The back was just lowered with a longer spring bolt until I get the time and money to do the same to the rear.
all I did to mine was cut the sliders out and adjust the original bolt in the back. Depends on how low you want to go...or you can cut the sliders and put in the lowering wedges with the longer bolt to lower it a little more...
