My personal preference is for wet systems, based in part on my experience with them.

To me, the main drawback to a dry shot is that you're totally dependent on the ECM being "fooled" into adding more fuel when the system is activated, and you run the risk of not enough extra added fuel (which is how a nitrous system works - add the oxidizer and fuel to make power), being dependent on injector pulse width/duty cycle and injector capacity.

With a wet system, you tap off the rail directly, and add extra fuel with the fuel solenoid. Any "serious" nitrous kit is of the wet configuration - by that, I mean any shot over 150.

On my LT1, I ran a custom built (by my shop) wet plate setup:
- worked pretty well at 150 (using a Racetronix/Walbro pump setup and Aeromotive adjustable FPR)

more nitrous info can be found here: http://advancedautocc.com/page--Nitr...formation.html

Best of luck to you, whatever you decide...

Unless it's a Zex system which doesnt use the pcm or maf to add fuel. It does use the fuel injectors which you can go bigger on and a fuel booster pump that is included with the kit. At least there is no risk of fuel puddling in the intake.

Pros and Cons to both systems but if you want a serious nitrous setup with room for future growth then go wet.

There's a nice looking intake setup for sale on ebay right now but its for a 250 to 450 shot.
