Will I notice a "seat of the pants" improvement on my 1994 lt-1,if I purchase a hypertech unit?
Has anyone bought & installed the "program" on their 1994-1996 lt-1?
What changes did you notice after hypertech install?
Would I be better off putting the $400 into another aspect/upgrade to get even more performance?
My cars upgrades are only 160 thermostat & modified air box.
HOPE TO HEAR FROM MY CORVETTE BROTHERS WHEN YOU GET TIME.

You deserve an answer. If you MUST purchase a Hypertech, buy a used one on Flebay.com (that national auction site), for $100.00.
Make sure the previous owner returned the unit to its origional program or it will be vin sepcific and you won't be able to use it. I used it to reprogram my fans. You'll get very little if any "seat of the pants" improvement.

Listen to this man, he was in Pre-Med

Not a unit for tuning, increasing power, or performance increases. But you can change the fans and something else, but can’t remember. I almost bought one but decided against it.

Unfortunately, I used to own one of these a long time ago. It will allow you to change the fan settings, increase the shift points in autos, and change the computer for larger tires. I don't recall exactly but I believe it may also change one of the tables for fuel and spark or timing if you are running higher octane. You will not notice much other than maybe the firmer shifts. Save your money and get a custom tune.

If you are to do any serious mods, diagnostics, or racing you are much better off getting Tuner Cat, Datamaster TSS, and a cable from Moates for the laptop.

I used one and agree that there is no sotp changes. I did notice the firmer shifting. Also the seemed to run better.

At least it was also useful to lower the temp setting. I will be useful to adjust for tires and gears.
I was always near the mark on temp now it runs cooler.

I think if you look you can find one for about $300.

I had one also. I bought it used and got my money back out of it when I sold it. A performance tune will get you better results.
