Yeah I will be their, should work out perfect.... Do they make you have any safety equipment? And can people ride along with you? My wife's birthday is in July and see wants the Richard petty driving experience for her birthday. Thanks for the info Hope to see you their.
No special safety equipment needed or required. And, yes you can have a passenger. I had my top down with my wife riding shotgun. She was very excited until we got started and came into the 28 degree banked turn three at 120 mph about 3 ft. from the high-side wall. After that she just shut her eyes and hunkered down until our 4 fast laps were complete. Afterwards she said that it was the worst experience of her life and she WILL NEVER go on any more Corvette fast track laps.
I guess those walls flying in at you at 120 mph look different from the passenger seat than the driver's seat.

I had my GTO much MUCH faster than my Vette......I saw just under 150 with that and it felt just as stable as the vette. Actually it felt quite planted, however my Corvette I havent seen over 101....lol
In my stock 86 I hit 125 with plenty left but I chickened out since I am the one who did the front end rebuild and all the brakes. I guess 125 or 150 wouldn't really matter though when something goes wrong at that speed you are done. It was great though as the highway was just repaved and nice and smooth
170, twice in a c5 z06. 1st time one a 4 lane divided highway the second on a bumpy *** country road. The second scared me so bad I havent been past like 120 (drag strip) since. Not to mention, it seems everything I step out of line, the man in blue is sitting there watching me do it . Car felt terrific though on the divided highway.
in my c4, I did like 115 on this little country road. Had to take a slight corner and it felt great. Got there like a rocket and had much more left in it.
I've hit 150 many times on the Autostrada and Autobahns. Wouldn't try it here though. Surprising how smooth how smooth it was...it was still accelerating but that was fast enough for me.
my wife bitched at me once in a car, and then we went 150+ that is the last time she ever screamed and turned off the radio, but it actually gave her the bug to drive it and she even learned to open it up after that.
Ive got to quit reading this thread
