ok expert's I'm curious just what effects "load variable"
but on my diacom readings I see that the injector pulse width is following the LV8 (load variable). ok, LV8 is a calculated amount of load on the engine.
the reason I am asking is that the LV8 is dropping after 4000rpms while I'm a WOT.
my engine combo(406ci, mini-ram, big cam) should make max power at 5800rpms, so shouldn't the LV8 still be high until then or near to it.
the only thing I can figure is that it has something to do with the "modified" MAF (it max's out "254" at around the same time). Is this the ECM thinking that its still running a TPI manifold? and there isn't any power to be made up there?

My max load readings have all come in an overdrive gear (5th, 6th) when the engine is just waking up (2000 rpm or so).
It just struck me as being weird, but I guess as long as the 02 mv's are good then maybe all is going well.
