I'm assuming the clutch in my 93 is hydraulic? I was in a 2 hour long parade in my 93 (with long tube headers) and at the end of the parade, I had no clutch. I'm guessing it boiled over? However, after letting it sit for 30 minutes, it came back just fine.
Are there any alternatives? Higher boiling point type of fluid?
How old is the fluid? It's just hydraulic fluid like in your brake lines. It will absorb moisture over time and that might be what caused it to boil.
That being said I auto-x mine and with two drivers in the car in FL heat I've never boiled it. Had a leak that caused problems with the clutch but once it went it was gone, it didn't come back.
