I just sold my 84 along with alot of headaches. Now I'm looking for a TPI model. Which year is the best to get, and what options am I looking for. Thanks again for your help.

I have no idea of the headaches you got rid of, but generally, the TBI is simpler and less troublesome than the TPI, not to mention cheaper to maintain, repair and mildly modify. They get more sophisticated, better technically, more complex, and more expensive, virtually every year.

RACE ON!!!

But the AL heads you want, if you are keeping keeping the stock ones, is 88+.

113 castings are >> 128 castings.

Default Info

Good to know, I wanted to modify, tune and basically pump the motor yet still pass smog laws here in California. Seemed like I wasn't going to be able to do it with the crossfire. I didn't find a single after market thing in Summit catalog.
