Default Super Chargers

I recently purchased a 1995 Comp Yellow with a six speed. I would like to add a super charger. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I was told that it may not be a good idea beause it has hard to keep tuned and will cause higher intake temps because of pulling hot air from engine compartment. Anybody done this without any problems. I am not looking for huge Hp gains, maybe 80-100 over stock.

You may want to post over in the forced induction section. I know a number of folks running supercharges on other makes of cars for years without any problems, other than a permanent grin on their faces.

vortech has discontinued the kit for LT-x cars. Procharger I do believe is still selling their kit. The best source for a supercharged c4 corvette would be Greg Carrol (blowerworks.net)

he really has a VERY well rounded kit that solves A LOT of problems that some of the "off the shelf" kits have. He sells a good quality kit for a competitive price.

There are dozens of us that have gone the supercharger route!
