I want to know how hard it would be to put a TPI intake on my 84'? Any advice?

It would still be too restrictive if you put it on there, the TPI wasnt made for the 350 engine, its built for the 305 but GM decided to stick us.

Look into an Xram

Hard. You need the whole set-up, computer, harness, distributor, etc. and you need a hood or to hack the @#$% out of yours. I know theres a few more snags that make this a bigger pain than it seems. I had an 84 and looked into this alot. I was always talked out of it. Go to the crossfire injection vault and talk to them. You can get that 84 running pretty good. Mine did :D

Yes, that is the best advice. You can make crossfire injection run better than a TPI, for probably less than switching over, and less the trouble. Come on over, we have a FAQ, forum, and tech section. There are even people with well over 300 hp running CFI. You'll be glad you paid us a visit!!!!!! :yesnod:

Thanks for the info. I am thinking about the X-ram. I need something other than what I have now! :)
