Default More hp

I have a 85. Want more hp. Have a balanced rotating assy. A set of heads casting # 14011034. Would this really boost the hp performance ?? 230 hp from factory is doing just want more.

What are you referring to as "this"? Do you already have "this" in your engine? A "balanced rotating assy", won't add much power on its own. Those are decent heads. The 12 cc smaller combustion chambers will make a BIG boost in your compression ratio. from the stock 9.0:1 to over 10.0:1. You can do the math for a good approximation. The big bottleneck in the L98 engine is the factory TPI intake manifold. Until you open up the bottleneck, nothing will work up to it's full potential.

RACE ON!!!

My opinion is, leave it alone, be happy with the performance you have.

Or, start with headers and increase the incoming air to the cylinders, like said above. Buy some books on making hp with the L-98, do your homework and go from there.
