This morning the blower motor decided to “Not Turn Off”, even with the key removed. I cannot control the speed of the blower either. Found the Blower Control Module under the hood and pulled the two connectors. The motor stopped. Re connected the two-pin connector and the blower again turned on. Is this an indication that the Blower Control Module needs replaced?
Follow the Blower hot lead - should be Black/Red or Purple - back to the Firewall just to the Left of the Evaporator Housing. There you will find a 5 amp fuse. See if it's open. If it is, replace it and everything should go back to normal. And if it does, check the Blower Motor Connector for burned/discolored wiring indicating a voltage drop at the connector - repair the connector. If the fuse is good, the Module needs to be replaced.

Thanks SunCr for the information. I replaced the Module and things are working fine.
