89_Corvette

I drove the car today about 15 miles, it ran fine. Parked and came back in about 30 minutes. When I started it, slight rough idle, thought it would die at a red light. Got on the highway and up to speed at first it seemed fine, then it began to slow down. I thought my foot was off the gas. it finally just slowed down and I stopped on the side of the road. I started it again and extreme rough idle, would not go above 800or 900 rpm, lots of back firing and then stalled. I managed to get it off the highway at 5 mph. I had it towed home an hour later. Now it starts fine for a few minutes then goes into the rough idle. Scared to pull it out my garage. This car has been quite a challenge with only 82K miles. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like fuel pump or fuel injectors. see sticky at top of page. FICINJECTORS
