y-pipe swap
Will the front y-pipe off of an 87 (from the exhaust manifolds) bolt directly up to my 85?
Will there be any clearance problems with the dual cats up front on the 87 exhaust, since the 85 does not have the dual pre cats? Will I encounter any sensor issues?
I will be eliminating the single cat found on the 85.

Why would you bolt pre-cats to your car?
85 pipe is a bit longer and ends in a flange. 87 pipe is a bit shorter and ends in a pipe, no flange (86 up use a clamp).
