I Have a HSR on my 91 At WOT the fuel pressure drops. I believe I need a FPR. Given the bad reviews on the Holley FPR I would like suggestions on a good brand that will bolt right up.
I hear the Buick GN FPR will bolt right up, Is this true?

According to the guys over on thirdgen, most have switched to kirban fpr's.
It is very normal to loose between 2 - 10 PSI on the fuel rails with vacuum hose "connected" to the FPR and the engine running. AFPR is a great way to dial in fuel pressure your after with the engine running....I run a BBK AFPR on my TPI setup myself.

When mine crapped out I plugged the hole and mounted a Aeromotive #13301 to the end of the rail
Being the slim body type it is a nice fit clearing the wiper mtr
Pic is of MSR's SP intake but same fitment
( Only used return port at bottom ; not balance line to otherside as shown
I bought the Walbro from Racetronix. My car did a similar thing. Was going lean on the wideband at high RPM. Probably at a similar power level. Pump fixed it. Stock pump just did not keep up.
1. Change the fuel filter at the chasis and in the tank.
2. Check the fuel pressure at idle with the hose off
3. Check the fuel pressure at WOT when there is consumption
4. Check the bleed down of the fuel pressure to see if the regulator is good
5. Hook up a DVOM to see what power the pump is getting
If your regulator is leaking fuel off too fast, the pump cannot keep up. See if it is bleeding off too quickly. Next, if the fuel pump is not getting the right power, the pump will not help. If it is the pump get a racetronix pump with all the hardware to make it work right
