Intermittent rough idle
My 94 will run and idle smooth as silk then all at once start running rough then just as sudden it will smooth out again, it happens sitting still or while i am driving down the road, when the engine is hot or cold. Anyone have a suggestion?

Check the spark plug wires and make sure that none of them are loose and swinging around. Cause it might be burning up a wire and arcing to ground when it gets close to a ground.
Is this a problem that is consistant or is it a once in a while time frame?
How long does it act crappy before smoothing out?

It happens routinely/daily with now pattern but It only lasts a few seconds. The wires and plugs have both been replaced--old ones were burned due to being routed wrong--this improved my performance 100% but didnt fix this problem

Only thing I would do is get a vacuum tester and check for leaks. If not it has to be something it activated by certain conditions. Sorta like how a car goes into a closed loop or open loop at certain temps. This thing has to have a trigger of some sort.
