Problem is that when im in a high gear and i step on it it sputters like its misfireing, if i let off of it or accelerate slowly its fine, also if i shift a little later it seems to be ok.
Another weird thing is every now and then ( nothing related to the hessitation) on my dash where it would normally display fuel information or engine temps, i get a flashing 5ys light any ideas on that?

Just replace the ICM and Coil. They go bad, may test ok at autozone but when hot they start to not work so well.
When I replaced mine for the second time in less than a year I took some washers and made an air gap between the head and the ICM/Coil mounting plate. My current setup has been on there about a year and its starting to go bad again.
If it was the opti you would get a code, ICM and coil do NOT throw a code on a 92.
