std and 'hd' flashers are 'warp switches', dependant on current flow to 'switch' off...the 'hd' flasher needs MORE current flow than std does...with LED's you have LESS current flow...you need an 'electro-mechanical' flasher that sets flash rate via cap-resistor circuit, abt $12 at any auto parts store.
