some weeks ago I had posted about my 88 4+3 leaking badly after I change the fluid.
I finally got it in the air and it seems the major portion of the leak is that small white switch (or sensor) just adjacent to the fill plug. What is this switch (or sensor) and can it be replaced/ serviced in the car. I haven't played much with it yet, I am just guessing there has to be an o-ring in there? Looking at its proximity to the fill plug, Im scared I may have damaged it when I changed the fluid. Any one know what Im dealing with? Thanks!

That is the connection that supplies power to the O/d solenoid to make it operate. Is a plastic plug with a spade connector on the outside for the wire to plug into

does it come out easily? do I have to remove the pa again? Does it have a seal? Can I buy it somewhere?
It has an O ring and 3 plastic tabs that lock it in. Chances are good that you will break one of the 3 tabs that lock it into OD housing(dry/brittle).
I picked up the AC Delco part from my local parts place, it was $5.
