I just got off the phone with a parts place and they are all ready taking orders for the Stealth Ram.
I think lot of people like me are going to get that and not the Super Ram or Mini Ram because of the price, I just think it is to much to have $1600 in a intake if it was a all out race intake the ok but we are talking about something for the street.
I have been reading up on the Stealth Ram they say that it will fit the Corvette, the TPI is 9.375" tall and the Stealth Ram is 10"
The intake will flow 300 cfm untouched but you can get more by porting it.
They say that it will be good for about 550hp to 600hp with the right TB and injectors that is a little better then the TPI.
You can get a kit or just what parts you nead.
I dont know the price yet but it is way under $1600 I know that I will post it as soon as I get it.
I was looking through a thread I recently started on the same subject. One guy says $1733 (Summit) for everything that sits on top of the engine (58mm T-body,injectors,fuel rail kit,and manifold) PN#81503001... :yesnod:

Re: Stealth Ram (cdnguyred88)
Any official details on what rpm range the Stealth Ram will work best in?
I understand Super Rams run out of puff around 5800-6000rpm and mini rams come into the own at revs higher than this (up to 7K?).
Looking at the runner length on the Stealth Ram I'd assume it falls somewhere between the to having a longer "runner" length than the MR and shorter than the SR. Then again, I'm no expert so I could be way off base. Anyone know (officially)?
I may have jumped the gun about it fitting the Corvette.
I just go this email from a parts store that is looking in to this for me.
And in it I was told that Holley is not sure if it will fit.
I guess time will tell if it does fit.
The price was close to what I had posted before maybe a little less.
Here is the email I got from them

DEAR JANNI:
AS PER OUR PHONE CONVERSATION ON 2/27/02, IN REFERENCE TO THE HOLLEY STEALTH RAM INTAKE MANIFOLD I DID SOME RESEARCH ABOUT WHAT YOU WANTED TO KNOW. AS FAR AS HOOD CLEARANCE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD IS 9 7/8 TALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WHERE IT MEETS THE BLOCK ONE OF THE TECH GUYS FROM HOLLEY IS
INSTALLING THIS SYSTEM ON HIS CORVETTE AND HE SAID THAT THE FRONT OF THE INTAKE MAY HIT THE HOOD DUE TO THE STOCK INTAKE SLOPES DOWN IN THE FRONT AND THE HOLLEY DOES NOT. HE PURCHASED A HOOD FOR HIS CAR TO BE SAFE, HE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE HOOD, IT GOT SLIGHTLY DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT AND HE WINDED UP WITH 2 HOODS.
AS FAR AS USING YOUR THROTTLE BODY,INJECTORS,COMPUTER AND WIRING HARNESS, IT WILL WORK. YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR FUEL RAILS.
THE PRICE FOR THE 7540 INTAKE MANIFOLD IS $306.21 THIS INCLUDES THE UPPER AND LOWER INTAKE, GASKETS AND SCREWS. THE PRICE FOR THE 534185 FUEL RAIL IS
$167.02. THESE PRICES ARE PLUS SHIPPING AND ALSO IF YOU PAY WITH A CHECK YOU CAN TAKE
OFF 3% ON THE PARTS.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR COMPANY TO SUPPLY YOU WITH THESE PARTS. IF YOU DECIDE YOU WANT TO GET THESE PARTS I CAN GIVE YOU A PHONE # .
THANKS AGAIN
AL SR.
Im sorry that I told you guys that it will fit, but for this price I think I will have to try and see if it does or not, because this is a lot less then Super Ram or Mini Ram.
And I just found out that a small cap distributor from a Camaro will work with this, I would think you can get them at a good price.
I just found a site with prices. It includes a TB, and injectors as well, but the lowest price is 2060.00. Almost 3K if you want a polished unit. It also mentioned height requirements. http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/h...hid=826BD12702
Here are some more info on this and there is a guy that just got one for about the same price as I posted but again this is just for the intake and the fuel rails but you can use the other stuff you dont nead a kit like that since your car has not got a carb on it.
Those intake kits that are above $2K include's fuel injectors. If they are using factory injectory that adds $800+ to the kit. Not sure what injectors they are using though.
high rise hoods http://www.toledopro.com
and vanacors, not sure about his web site, but saw some of his hoods at recent Corvette/Chevy expo in Houston and they looked to have good quality. Also the cowl induction hood looked better in person than in the pictures in his catalog and website.
