Default Trans Speed Sensor leak
Do I need to drain all the trans fluid to change the speed sensor in my 1996 Vette? I've had a slow leak for about 6 mths now and I found where it is coming from, its leaking from the electrical plug on the speed sensor. Its a Automatic. Thanks, John.

Put a tray underneath ; a small amount of fluid will come out when you pull the VSS

That may depend on how the car is jacked/supported. I replaced mine sitting level on a lift and as "rodj" says I lost next to nothing.
